The activity begins at 09:00am with a 40-minute drive to the river. Once there, the guide will giving the briefing regarding safety, tips and handing out the necessary equipment for a fun and safe trip.   • Wear sunscreen every day. Even when you don’t feel like you’re getting burned, the equatorial latitude and relatively high altitude of Baños can do a lot of damage to your skin.
  • Baños is a pretty safe town and petty crime is rare, but it’s still a good idea to avoid carrying too much cash on you.
  • Make sure to leave any items that could get damaged by water behind at your accommodation.
